About the event

In short:

Bring the dried ;) nature into your home with a home-made vase. Are you going for a robust look with dark clay, or a graceful vase of natural clay? The coil building technique gives each vase its own charm.

What is the coil building technique?

The coil building technique is an ancient method of building objects using thin coils of clay. In this technique, the coils of clay are stacked and joined together to create the desired shape. By placing the coils of clay on top of each other and then working and connecting them with your hands or tools, you can build three-dimensional objects, in our case a beautiful vase! By building and manipulating the clay layer by layer, you can create unique and personalized ceramic pieces that each have their own character and charm.

There is the possibility to make a painting with underglaze. Keep it nice and basic? Then choose from one of the beautiful high-quality and food-safe glazes, so that you can use your plates endlessly and can even clean them easily in the dishwasher.
